Navchandi Yagna

Description:

Navchandi Yagna is one of the most powerful and elaborate Vedic rituals dedicated to Goddess Durga (Adi Shakti). It is based on the recitation of the sacred text Durga Saptashati (Devi Mahatmya) and involves systematic chanting along with a grand fire ritual (Yagna).

The ritual includes:

1. Ganesh Poojan and Sankalp

2. Kalash Sthapana and Devi Avahan

3. Complete recitation of Durga Saptashati (700 shlokas)

4. Chanting of Navarna Mantra: “Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundayai Vichche”

5. Havan with specific mantra ahuti

6. Purnahuti and Maha Aarti

In traditional format, multiple priests participate to complete the recitation and Yagna in proper Vedic procedure.
