Rudra Yagna

Description:

Rudra Yagna is a powerful Vedic fire ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva in his Rudra form, the fierce yet compassionate force of transformation and protection. It is based primarily on the chanting of Shri Rudram (Namakam and Chamakam) from the Yajurveda, followed by an elaborate Havan.

This is not a small domestic pooja. Rudra Yagna is a structured Vedic ceremony that usually includes:

1. Ganesh Poojan and Sankalp

2. Kalash Sthapana

3. Recitation of Shri Rudram (Namakam & Chamakam)

4. Rudra Abhishek of Shivling with water, milk, honey, ghee, curd, and bilva leaves

5. Havan with Rudra mantras

6. Purnahuti and Maha Aarti
